ABOUT
AMANDA QUINN

Hi, I'm Amanda, I’m a Maryland-based artist whose nomadic childhood spread my roots across the globe. From Colombia to Japan, Australia to the Netherlands, art was my constant, quiet companion through these shifting landscapes, a thread of continuity when everything else changed.

As the years passed, I set aside the creative impulse that had quietly sustained me in favor of more "practical" pursuits. I fell prey to the illusion that art was a luxury, not a necessity.

But creativity isn’t something we can abandon—it's our birthright. When I strayed too far from it, it became a persistent whisper, trailing restless fingers along the edges of my consciousness, demanding to be witnessed.

My return to art wasn't a decision, so much as an inevitable reclamation. In it, I encountered a profound language of self-discovery, a portal for processing the complex emotional terrain of becoming. Each brushstroke became a practice of radical self-acceptance, transforming long-held patterns and limiting beliefs into something beautifully unexpected.

This journey isn't about perfection. It's about presence. About finding grace in the messy, intricate process of meeting myself—all the versions I've been, and the ones still emerging. Art has taught me to claim my vulnerability as a profound strength. It's where healing happens, where we can find beauty in the chaos.

What I offer isn't a complete narrative, but an invitation. To recognize your own unfolding in the layers of color and form. To remember that our internal landscapes are infinite, intricate, always in motion. To find the beauty within your depths.

Welcome to my world.
